Christopher Caswell
One of New York's exciting established talents, Christopher Caswell hails from Austin, Texas, but now calls New York his home for almost 20 years. He recently performed his one-man show Hold On, an event which critic and columnist Roy Sander describes as "A beautiful show--heartfelt and deeply affecting". John Hoglund says, "He's got the goods".
Hold On features songs ranging from classic Gershwin to contemporary pop luminaries, Broadway's favorites and selections from New York songwriters; all showcasing Christophers' emotional and vocal range.
Christopher sings with the dynamic pops ensemble, Uptown Express, an octet that performs frequently in a variety of New York venues.
In addition to his work with Uptown Express and NYCGMC, Chris has risen to other challenges, such as performing in the role of Nathan in a NYC concert performance of Rags and a title role in the critically acclaimed Twentieth Anniversary off-Broadway revival of Boy Meets Boy .
